Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data Raptas collects through raptas.ai, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the choices you have. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Who we are

Raptas Resolute Ltd (“Raptas”, “we”) operates raptas.ai and is responsible, as controller, for the personal data described in this notice. Our published address is 11 Broadway, New York, NY 10004, USA. You can reach us about privacy at connect@raptas.ai.

What this notice covers

This notice covers personal data we collect through this website: its forms, the site assistant, and the technical data needed to run the site. It does not cover data our customers process inside the Raptas products they deploy. That processing is governed by the customer's agreement with us, under which the customer controls its data and Raptas acts on its instructions.

What we collect

We collect only what you give us, and the minimum technical data needed to run the site.

Contact form: Name, work email, company, phone (optional), what you are interested in (optional), your message, and whether you opted in to marketing.
Demo request: Name, work email, company, phone, country, preferred date and time, the product you asked about, your message, and whether you opted in to marketing.
Partner application: Name, work email, company, phone, country, partner type, company size, target industry, your message, and whether you opted in to marketing.
Newsletter sign-up: Your email address.
Job application: Name, contact details, LinkedIn and portfolio links, years of experience, notice period, expected salary, cover letter and the résumé you upload.
Site assistant: The questions you type. They are used to generate an answer and are not stored by Raptas (see below).
Automatically: Aggregated, cookieless page-view statistics, and technical data such as your IP address and browser type, which our hosting and security systems process to deliver the site and prevent abuse.

Please don't send us sensitive personal data, or confidential information about your organization, through our forms or the site assistant.

How we use it, and why

Respond to your enquiry, arrange a demo or assess a partner application: Taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
Assess a job application: Taking steps at your request before an employment contract, and our legitimate interest in recruiting.
Send product news and insights: Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Keep the site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and understand how it is used in aggregate: Our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.
Meet legal obligations and handle legal claims: Legal obligation, and our legitimate interest in establishing or defending legal claims.

Marketing

We send product news and insights only if you opt in, using the separate checkbox on our forms or the newsletter sign-up. Replying to your enquiry never depends on it. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by writing to connect@raptas.ai.

The site assistant

The “Ask me anything” assistant is an AI that answers from the content of this website. When you ask a question, it is sent to our AI provider (Groq or Cloudflare) to generate the answer. Raptas does not store your questions or the answers, and they are not used to train models. Answers can be incomplete or wrong, so please check anything important with our team, and don't type personal or confidential information into it.

Cookies, analytics and video

The site does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views in aggregate without cookies and without identifying you. Product videos play through YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode; YouTube stores data on your device only when you choose to play a video, under Google's privacy policy.

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the site and respond to you. They process it on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purposes below.

Supabase: Hosts the database that stores form submissions and job applications, and the storage for uploaded résumés.
Resend: Delivers the emails our forms send to our team and, where relevant, to you.
Vercel: Hosts and delivers the website, and provides cookieless, aggregated web analytics.
Groq and Cloudflare: Run the AI model that generates the site assistant's answers from the questions you type.
Google (YouTube): Plays product videos through YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode when you choose to play one.

We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this notice would continue to apply.

International transfers

Our team and service providers may process personal data in countries other than yours, including the United States and Bangladesh. Where the law requires it, we put appropriate safeguards in place for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses, and you can ask us for details.

How long we keep it

Enquiries, demo requests and partner applications: Up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a business relationship follows.
Job applications and résumés: Up to 12 months after the role is filled, unless you are hired or ask us to keep it longer for future roles.
Newsletter subscription: Until you unsubscribe.
Site assistant questions: Not stored by Raptas. Our AI providers process them only to generate the answer, under their own retention terms.
Technical and security logs: Kept briefly by our hosting and security systems, typically no longer than 30 days.

We may keep data longer where the law requires it or to handle a legal claim, and delete it securely afterwards.

Security

We protect personal data with access controls, encryption in transit, and by limiting access to the people who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the authorities where the law requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy
correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
ask us to delete it
object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
receive it in a portable format
withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
complain to your data protection authority

To exercise any of these, write to connect@raptas.ai. We may need to confirm your identity, and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows, usually one month. Exercising your rights is free.

Children

This website is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when our practices change, and show the new date at the top. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on this page.
